Healing Serious Illness with Vedic Mantras

By- Sushil Khadka

“Those hands can be praised which remove the distress of others and which provide shelter to the poor.”

Let us first understand what is a Mantra and how does this really work. Simply saying, mantra is a set of word(s) or letter(s) that create a sound that helps a person to realize the self and attain bliss. How?

“Mantra” is derived from two Sanskrit root words.

MAN (To Think) + TRAI (To Protect) = MANTRA

So, Mantra is a tool which implies a specific structure of sonic (wave) patterns – coded in syllables and vowels and helps the mind to liberate from ignorance, illusions & evil instincts. Our mind is extremely powerful and capable of manifesting desired outcomes but need control. When we chant a specific mantra continuously, with a concentrated mind, helps in the transformation of the sound waves into electromagnetic waves for necessary cosmic transmission & link with the energy of the particular deity to receive back the healing energy from the divine powers.

Mantras can prevent various kinds of miseries, illness, diseases, accidents, mishaps and various maladies of life. I have a wide experience of more than 15 years of the curative & preventative measures through chanting of Vedic Mantras and stotras (Hyms in praise of God).

In this blog, I will be providing various Rare Mantras, which are experimented and can certainly prevent the mishaps, provided these mantras are followed with the proper pronunciation; absolute faith and dedication along with honesty and loyalty towards own self.

Any mantra chanting must be done after proper Sankalpa for the purpose of using it. Sankalpa is nothing but a pledge or a promise to the Mantra deity that the person will be reciting or chanting the particular mantra for X number of days & X number of times to get the blessing and relief from his pain.

Now, just before we jump straight into Mantras, we also need to understand the principles of Karma. According to Mahanirvana Tantra, Karma is action, its cause, and effect. There is no uncaused action, nor action without effect. The past, the present, and the future are linked together as one whole.

As per the theory of Karma, each person goes through the cycles of birth and death. In each of his life, whatever he experiences is all influenced by his Karma in his previous birth. The Karmic theory reflects on the concept and is based on, "WHATEVER A MAN SOWETH, THAT SHALL HE ALSO REAP". Thus, every action we take creates the cause for events to happen to us. No one can get away from the claws of karma.

I just wanted to relate our sufferings and pain to our past Karma and cleansing our past bad Karma can help us get rid of our pain and sorrow.

So, how do we do that? My answer is by Chanting Mantras.

But, then I am assuming that we are improving our thoughts and clearing our negativity while chanting mantra and hence we will be able to see a miracle in our life.

I refer to bad karma as Paap (ill deeds) and I recommend one special mantra of Devi Lalita (who is the ultimate goddess and mother of all beings) to get the divine love of mother Lalita and clear all of our bad karma with the following mantra while meditating on Mother Lalita Tripura Sundari.

Mantra:

“Om Paap – Nashin -  Yei- Namaha”

Meaning: “Salutation to Mother who destroys sin”

This mantra is from Shri Lalitasahashranaam Stotra, 1000 names of Lalita. This stotra (hymn which praises) occurs in Brahmanda purana (Old epic of the universe) in the Chapter on discussion between Hayagreeva and Sage Agasthya. Hayagreeva is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu with the horse head and is believed to be the storehouse of knowledge. Agasthya is one of the great sages of yore who is one of the stars of the constellation great bear. At his request Hayagreeva taught him the most holy 1000 names of Lalita.

You can chant this mantra as many times a day as you want but not less than 9 times at least. I am extremely confident that with the divine blessings of Sri Lalita devi, all our past karma is cleansed and we can all start a new life.

Now, let me come to the mantra to cure our serious illnesses.

Dhanvantari Mantra

Dhanvantari, the Hindu conception of an aspect of God, stands for the healing power of Ayurvedic medicine.

He is depicted in his four-armed form holding the Sudarsana Chakra (Weapon of Vishnu) and Conch in the upper right and lefts hands. In the other two hands he carries a pot containing the nectar of immortality and herb.

This is a bit long mantra but practicing it few times will make it easy.

Mantra:

("Om Namo Bhagavate Maha Sudharshana Vasudevaya Dhanvantaraye;
Amrutha Kalasa Hasthaaya Sarva Bhaya Vinasaya Sarva Roga Nivaranaya
Tri Lokya Pathaye Tri Lokya Nithaye Sri Maha Vishnu Swarupa
Sri Dhanvantri Swarupa Sri Sri Sri Aoushata Chakra Narayanaya Swaha")

"Om Na-mo Bha-ga-vate Ma-ha Su-dhar-sha-na Va-su-de-va-ya Dhan-van-ta-ra-ye;
Am-ru-tha Ka-la-sa Has-thaa-ya
 Sar-va Bha-ya Vina-sa-ya,
Sar-va Ro-ga Ni-va-ra-na-ya

Tri Lo-kya Pa-tha-ye

Tri Lo-kya Ni-tha-ye

Sri Ma-ha Vish-nu Swa-ru-pa

Sri Dhan-van-tari Swa-ru-pa

Sri Sri Sri
 Aou-sha-ta Cha-k-ra Na-ra-ya-na-ya Sw-aha"

Meaning: “Obeisance unto the Supreme Lord known as Sudarshana Vasudev Dhanvantari, the holder of the Kalasha (Jar) full of nectar of immortality, who removes all fears, who removes all diseases, the well-wisher of the three worlds, and sustainer of the three worlds, He is Vishnu swarup (form), by the name Dhanvantari empowered to heal the Jiva (living beings) souls. We bow to you.”

(Note: Clearing Karma is extremely important to remove negativity and accept further healing from this mantra.)

This mantra is to be chanted at least 12,500 times within duration of 41 days. Using a bead mala will help for the purpose of counting. Also, please practice a disciple while you chant this mantra. Fix a time as per your schedule either morning or evening every day at around same time.

I will once again reiterate the role of Karma, for our suffering through illnesses & various diseases not only that but also our behavior; like our daily habits. Yoga & Pranayama are some of the practices that we must follow in order to get a healthy life. Until and unless we clear our negativity, and improve our general eating, drinking, sleeping and most importantly breathing habits; chanting mantras only will not help. This is a supplement to enhance the potential of healing diseases and in no aspect a substitute for any medical treatments.

Just to give you an example, cancer is an extremely dangerous disease that its cell grows so fast without you knowing but only due to the lack of oxygen cells. If we know how to breathe properly through daily Pranayama practice, we can probably reduce the occurrence of cancer from our lives.

The above dhanvantari mantra is extremely powerful, capable in healing serious diseases, infections and old age complications etc… This mantra can be chanted by anyone on behalf of the sick person. This will bestow overall happiness, wealth and prosperity in all aspects of life.

In, my next blog, I will be giving some extremely rare and powerful mantras to heal death inflicting diseases like Cancer, HIV Aids, Brain tumor etc. Please stay tuned and write me for any clarification. I am always ready to help anyone who needs my advice. Send me email: [email protected]

Finally, Salutations to my GURU, Hari OM!!!

Remember always, KARMA PREVAILS.
